FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ORDERS

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer monthly payment plans through Shop Pay and PayPal Credit. These payment options are available at checkout.

When will I receive my order?

All Soulbound jewelry is handcrafted to order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for production, not including shipping time.

Do you provide rush services?

While I do not provide a standard rush service, please let me know your scheduling needs in either the order notes section at checkout or via email and I will do my best to accommodate!

Can I see your jewelry in person before placing my order?

Soulbound is exclusively an e-commerce business, so unfortunately there is no retail store where you can see my jewelry in person.

However, I do keep one sample of each piece in my studio (in 14 karat yellow gold and a size 6 for rings) that I use for website and social media photography. I can send you the samples of any piece of jewelry that you're interested in. You would need to purchase the samples however and cover the shipping costs.

There will be a pre-paid return shipping label included in your package. When you're done viewing the samples, you can repackage them and stick the return label on the box. Then take the box to your local FedEx facility for shipping.

Once I receive the samples, I will refund your order minus any shipping fees.

All samples must be shipped within 1 week of review. If the sample package has not been reiceved by FedEx after 1 week, the items will not be refunded.

Do you take orders via email or over the phone?

I cannot accept any orders via email or phone. Please place your order through the website.

If you need help with your order, feel free to email me at info@soulboundnyc.com.

Can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order, I must receive an email within 6 hours of when you place your order.

Since all Soulbound jewelry is made-to-order, once production begins on your jewelry, your order cannot be cancelled or changed.

What is your return policy?

Since all Soulbound jewelry is made-to-order, all sales are final and I cannot accept any returns.
If your item has a manufacturing defect, I would be happy to repair it for you free of charge. Please email me at info@soulboundnyc.com for more information.

SHIPPING

What are your shipping options within the United States?

After the 4-6 week production time, all domestic orders are shipped with either FedEx Express, 2-Day, or Overnight service. All shipments are trackable and fully insured, and require an adult signature on delivery. If you would like me to waive the signature requirement, please inform me in the “Special Instructions” section at checkout.
Soulbound is not responsible for lost packages that have been marked as delivered.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship via FedEx International Priority, trackable and fully insured service.
Duties and taxes are not included in the shipping price and vary from country to country. The customer is responsible for paying these fees.

Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold - if it exists - for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.

I will not be available to sign for my package. Can I pick up my order from FedEx instead?

Absolutely! Please make a note of this request in the "Add Order Notes" section at checkout, or send me an email at info@soulboundnyc.com!

Be sure to include the exact address of the FedEx location that you would like to have your package sent to.

Is your packaging discreet?

Yes! All Soulbound packages are shipping in a plain box with no branding.
This helps prevent theft and will help keep your gift a secret from loved ones!

Can I pick up my order from your studio?

Soulbound is exclusively an e-commerce business, so orders cannot be picked up in person.

RESIZING & REPAIRS

How do I figure out my ring size?

I recommend having your finger sized by a local jeweler. All of the sizes listed on my website are US ring sizes.

Please note that wider rings require larger sizes, as the additional surface area makes the ring feel tighter on the finger. Please be sure to have your finger sized with a ring of the same width.

For exact details on our ring size diameter measurements and conversions from sizing used in other countries, please see the international ring size chart.

What if I don't see my ring size online?

If you don't see your ring size as an option on the website, please choose the closest size on the drop-down menu and then in the shopping cart box that says “Add Order Notes,” specify what size you’d like!

What if I'm purchasing a ring for a gift/proposal and don't know the wearer's ring size?

This is a tricky situation! For starters, I would stay away from any ring styles that cannot be resized, as noted on their product page. These are typically rings with designs that wrap all the way around the band, leaving no empty space to cut the ring for resizing.

If you have access to any of the rings that the wearer already owns, you can measure the inner diameter of the ring and use this ring size chart to determine the size of the ring.

Please note however that most people's fingers are all different sizes. For example, my pointer finger is a size 6 and my ring finger is a size 4.25! If you're purchasing an engagement ring, you would need to measure a ring that is also worn on the ring finger.

If you cannot measure an existing ring owned by the wearer, you can try to guess their ring size. Ask the wearer's friends or family if they have an idea of what their ring size might be. The average ring finger size for women in the United States is a 6.5. The average ring finger size for men in the United States is a 10.

For engagement rings, it is always a good idea to choose a size on the larger side of your prediction, so at least the ring will fit on the wearer's finger during the proposal! You can have the ring resized at a local jeweler afterwards, where they can also assist in properly measuring the wearer's finger and determining the correct ring size.

Can you resize my ring?

If possible, I would be happy to resize your Soubound ring. There will be a labor fee and possibly a materials fee, and you will be responsibile for all shipping fees. Please contact me at info@soulboundnyc.com for more information.

You can also take your resizable Soulbound ring to any local jeweler for resizing!

This saves you the hassle of having to ship your ring back to me, and you get to support another small business in your area!

There are a few styles that are not resizable however. Rings with designs or gemstones that wrap all the way around the band cannot be resized. If a ring is not resizable, this will be noted in the product description.

Can you repair my Soulbound jewelry?

In the unlikely event that your Soulbound jewelry is in need of repair, I would be happy to help! I offer free repairs for the first year after your purchase.

After one year, I will need to charge a labor fee and possibly a materials fee for all repairs.

Soulbound is not responsible for any damages to pieces repaired by another jeweler.

CUSTOM JEWELRY

Can you create a one-of-a-kind custom piece of jewelry for me?

Unfortunately I am no longer able to offer one-of-a-kind custom design services.

I can however, create any piece of Soulbound jewelry with alternate gemstones. Please see the alternate gemstones page to view all available gemstones for each piece, and to place your custom order.

Can you create a piece of Soulbound jewelry with different gemstones?

Of course! Please see the alternate gemstones page to order a piece of Soulbound jewelry with your choice of gemstones!

Will my stones match the pictures on the website exactly?

Every stone is natural and unique, so color varies from stone to stone. Colors on computer screens also vary, so please keep this in mind.
If you have any special requests pertaining to the color of your stone, please let me know either in the order notes section at check out, or by emailing me at info@soulboundnyc.com.

Can you set my heirloom stone in one of your rings?

Unfortunately, no. There is always a risk of stones getting lost during shipping or breaking during stone setting, so I do not work with gemstones or diamonds provided by customers.

Can I buy a setting for one of your rings and have another jeweler set my heirloom gemstone?

Unfortunately, no. I only sell completed pieces, so I can fully stand behind the quality and integrity of my work.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes! I offer laser engraving on most Soulbound rings. There will be an additional $50 labor fee for the engraving.

Please email me at info@soulboundnyc.com for more information.
