Hanami Dango [花見団子] [はなみだんご] is a Japanese dessert eaten during hanami (cherry blossom viewing). Three sweet rice dumplings are colored pink, white, and green to symbolize the sakura trees and the coming of spring.
One of my favorite things about Animal Crossing games is that they give me the chance to celebrate Japanese traditions. Hanami dango are featured in picnic sets in several Animal Crossing games!
